Braces are Killing Me

Um....does anyone know how the heck to get my teeth to stop hurting? Man...this sucks. I would have preferred to get them in high school so I could call out sick and have my Mom take care of me. :)
I think I’ve asked everyone I know about the pain and they all say it goes away or you get used to it. I hope it’s not like this for the whole year and a half. That would suck! Still don't regret them though.
