My Favorite Customer
So, I just received a call from a prospective customer, Rose. She was looking to buy a magazine to be shipped to Canada. Sad, but we don't ship there yet, mainly because of the complications with FedEx. While I was searching for a product for her I asked her how she heard about us or how she found our site. (Because we don't actively market it anywhere.) She stated it was an organic search on Google and we came up. I guess I must have done a good job with the meta tags and image alt tags for search engines to just pick it up. (More on why we don't market the site on another post.) She mentioned she loved the name and that it sounded just like it was spelled. I commented to her that we were thinking of changing it because it may be too confusing for people and she said if we did change it we should have a going away party for Fidjiti. I thought it was funny. But for real, do we still want to use Fidjiti? Do we think it can be a powerful brand. Obviously I should tweak the spelling just a bit because I used the DJ because I was a DJ in 1999. So I can't expect to use the same name for something I created for something else. Well still searching and researching. Rose, thanks for your feedback. I'll be sure to invite you to the party, if we have one. :)
