Visiting Teaching Idea

So, I've debated whether to provide Visiting Teaching ideas on this site and I figured I may as well because I love Visiting Teaching, and I know others do too. Plus, it's hard to get ideas on what one should do and give out so here's my idea for this month. Sorry it's kind of late.

It's a Laminated "Essentials" Checklist. Goes right along with the January 2009 Visiting Teaching Message. I know most of you are super creative so it's nothing super awesome and cute like some of you would do but it's just an idea. Feel free to print out the PDF files below and use it for your sisters if you'd like to. (I used different fonts than the one shown in the picture below so they can fit your sisters personalities.)

Creative Directions:

  1. Save PDF files above to your computer.

  2. Set margins to .25" on all sides before printing.

  3. Print front on regular patterned paper. (optional)

  4. Print back on Colored Cardstock. Make sure this sheet is cardstock.

  5. Cut each bookmark out with even borders on all sides.

  6. Then cut the Front a little bit thinner and shorter than the back, so when you glue them together the cardstock piece will show through the front side.

  7. Glue both sides together.

  8. Laminate and trim lamination, leaving about 1/4 inch on all sides.

  9. Attach a dry erase marker (with eraser on cap) to the front using a velcro dot.

Let me know what you think.
