October Road

I can finally decorate for Halloween!! Clark only lets me decorate for Halloween starting no earlier than October 1st. I'm not much of a fall decorator, so I just go straight to Halloween and then I also skip Thanksgiving and decorate for Christmas. I do have to wait until the day after Thanksgiving to decorate for Christmas.

So, as I drive down the roads in our neighborhood, there are such cute decorations for Halloween and Fall. Thanks to all of those who add to the season! I had to post them here so you all can enjoy them too. You might even recognize your door or porch. I think that's why Halloween is my favorite Holiday, because everyone else loves it too and it's not as hectic as Thanksgiving and Christmas time, oh and you get to hand out some awesome candy too. Yes, we will have full sized candy bars again this year!

So, I didn't want to wait until Halloween Day (like l did last year) to decorate, so I decorated early. Now, I can enjoy the decor all month long. BTW Most of the decorations were purchased at the Dollar store and I spent less than $15 (not including the little lights), sure it's cheap, but the kids love it and so do I.

  3. You are the cutest. You have inspired me, I only have about 2 Halloween Decorations, but I should drag them up from the basement and put them up.
The kids love them. Maybe I should make THEM drag them up, even better idea.

  6. Are you for hire? Because your house is adorable! Jaidyn told me that on Friday the kids were so freaked out on the way to school. They were just certain that the frankenstein in your window had caught a dog for lunch. They could see a little dog bouncing up and down behind the window trying to get out. Must have been that Plato. Penny sure is glad that the Frankenstein hasn't caught her yet!

Yo, I love your "boo" mat, sorry I don't have a pic of it on here. But I saw it while delivering flyers and loved it. :)

  12. you guys are so cool. I was thinking about giving out dum-dum suckers this year. but you've inspired me to at least give out tootsie pops. seriously, when I was a kid there was a urban legend that one house in a neighboring hood gave out full sized candy bars on Halloween. we always searched for this home every year and it was never found. You guys rock for making it real.
